Exchange rates are 19 October 2026 closes (Pound Sterling Live). "Local-price estimate" takes VAT off the UK price, applies about 20 % off US-made aircraft hardware, aero sheet and the engine kit when buying in the US, then adds a typical local sales tax: US shown before sales tax, EU 21 %, Japan 10 %, Australia 10 % GST, Canada 13 % HST. Treat these as rough guides, not quotes.
Everything that goes into one aircraft
Every folded blank, every rivet by grip, every AN bolt by step, plus tube stock, bought assemblies, consumables and tools. Each line has an estimated price. The same list is in BOM.csv and HARDWARE_BY_STEP.csv in the download.

What is known, and what is not
Exact
The fold geometry. Every panel in the 3D model is produced by refolding the DXF flat pattern, and the rib-to-spar pilot holes are coordinated between parts.
Estimated
Not analysed yet
Ribs, skin buckling, fittings, landing gear, tail loads, the engine mount and flutter. Mass-balance every control surface.
Not proven
No physical part has been cut. Fold one rib and one spar offcut first to check the bend deduction.
A UK SSDR aircraft needs no airworthiness approval, so all the responsibility is the builder's. Proof-load the wing with sandbags to +4 g and have a BMAA or LAA inspector look at it before it flies. Elsewhere, check your national microlight rules.
